which company would want to miss the huge market and incredible opportunity that India offers?

The point is that Free Software is not the people or the projects, it’s the idea.
You’re probably right that the heart of the software world is moving east, but this isn’t really a bad thing, programmers will still exist everywhere, and Free code will circulate in both directions.
This transition isn’t a monster that will consume the movement, it’s a leveling of the playing field, and a fresh chance to move forward.
