A provocation, first published in The Register in August 2002, which continues to attract both interest and condemnation, in which the author argues that trusted computing systems are both inevitable and to be welcomed, and calls for the esablishment of a European network which is safe from US cultural imperialism.

First publshed as a pamphlet by the Co-operative Party in August 2000, in which the author argues that the Internet is a mutual, co-operative venture whose character is being destroyed by commercial pressures.
